I’m re-reading The Great Gatsby for the first time since high school and I am delighted and overwhelmed with the richness of Scott Fitzgerald’s language and descriptions. I can’t believe that a book so old and widely read can still manage to present its story in such a fresh and intoxicating way… but I guess there’s a reason it’s a classic.
